Last night I lay beside you
Watching as you slept
Trying to see inside you
Through tears that I had wept

You said a lot to me
While lying silent still
And now I know you see
The way, my soul you fill

The love I have discovered
Will never leave my heart
The man that you uncovered
Has loved you from the start

And I know I told you never
But I have to leave today
Still I’ll wait for you forever
If Forever and a day

How sweet, Kevin, and how sad at the ending.
