when I see you
standing there
wondering
if I could be
her
I try so hard
not to change
myself
into what
you're sure to want
because if
I change myself
for you
I'll loose myself
somewhere in the
darkness
then try
to convince myself
that you love me
for me
but some how
I'll know deep down
in my soul
the one that
was ment for you
was never me.

Isaiah 1:18
"Everyone loves a rose, will you be thankful for the thorns?"

Allstaria22...  I kiss your hand for being this honest and sincere to others with something as delicate as Love, as I have experienced falling in Love with an "act" of the real person who was too scared to show herself.  I've often talked about this same thing with close friends, but never seen it addressed by a woman in such a way.  I automatically have a mountain of respect for you by reading this fine piece.  Stay real always my friend, because if you dont show yourself for who you really are... "you" can never be loved.  By doing this we would be cheating the other AND ourselves out of true Love.  Beautiful job, Outstanding message

Strive for higher levels, if they seem out of reach... Grow, and they will get closer.
