She

She is so beautiful to me.
She is as tender as the early morning dew I see
energizing the leaves of the majestic banyan tree.
She is the rain drops gently landing on multi-colored tropical flowers
as I am awakened by the soft tapping of early morning rain showers.
She is the wind lavishly blowing thru the fronds of the coconut trees
and the lovely sounds flowing thru the air as the wind animates so many silky palm leaves.
She is the North Shore waves rhythmically washing upon the sandy shore
totally immersing and bathing me in the beauty of the woman I simply adore.
She is as warm as the precious sunlight flowing down to caress us from heaven above.
She is an exotic wonder of nature to enjoy and grow to love.
She is soft to my touch.
I desire her beauty so much.

as always your work is breathtaking.
SHE is a lucky woman indeed. This was

I talked to Lena tonight and I didn't buy her any flowers but I bought her three scented candles and she liked that and I gave her two poems written for her..."She" and "Perhaps".  I told her I wanted to be her friend and go slow with her and she said she appreciated how slow I was moving...and she said she enjoys the poetry I write for her.  I told her I was going to wait for her and I ask her how long would I be waiting...I mentioned 5 years..and she laughed and said no it would be this year.  I told her I was not going to ask her to a movie even though the desire was already in my heart and I would wait until the desire for her to go to the movies with me was in her heart and then she could ask me to the movies...I think I am really learning how to go slow...we had lots of fun talking and laughing and touching...I let her do most of the touching.   James

James~ I read the follow up note too, I think it sounds wonderful, if you keep going like this you will make her want you, (the poems would have done it for me   ) And yes, you should start thinking that she will be lucky to have YOU not just you lucky to have her. Best of luck to you sweetie   -SEA

Sea a key word is "if" I keep trying.  I know some of us think we can win someones heart and I would like to believe that..I kindof think if you give a woman special attention perhaps you can soften her heart.
The problem for me is many times before I have kept trying to win a womans heart, and I have after a long period of time..but then in the long run the relationship didn't work out because I wasn't really the one they wanted.  So I prefer a relationship where the woman chases me just as much as I chase her.  So far Lena has not done that...in word she has but not in action.  So how long should I continue to try....James

James~ I don't know.... I've never had a problem letting a man know I was interested.....sometimes I shouldn't have let them know and let them chase me some, but I hate games and have always felt that if you like someone it shouldn't be a big secret or game..... So I dunno..... I guess it depends on how she responds, but if she isn't well there are plenty of women out there..... good luck.   -SEA

Thanks Sea...people have told me if I like a woman don't let her know right away...somehow I can never do that...I can't wait to tell her.
The woman that I am crazy about...Lena, won't call me and she makes me do all the work...another woman named Mena I just met a few weeks ago has already called me 3 times.
I love Lena but I hate her not calling.
I'm not sure how I feel about Mena yet because it's too soon but I love her calling me.   James

James:

A beautiful poem, with breathtaking imagery.  You are just a natural when it comes to writing about love.

Your love life sounds a bit like mine, confusing at times and complicated, hang in there, just be your sweet romantic self and yes, keep writing those poems for her, it will melt her heart and eventually she will be all yours to love.  For now, just try to have patience (believe me, I know that it's hard) and that will impress her and she will be more readily to start a relationship because you respected her in the first place. Respect and friendship is key

Take care,
Melissa Honeybee

Thank you Tracie for your lovely response full of hope...I am waiting right now...you know the story of the turtle and the hare...I feel like I have run too far ahead of Lena and I am waiting for her to catch up...I have offered my friendship or my love and it is up to her to decide which she desires, if any, and to decide if she believes me or if she doesn't care about me...if she doesn't believe me but wants to believe me we have reached the same place...James
