Goodbye In all the times I've used that word It has always seemed so final But this time it is My final goodbye Goodbye to those who loved me Goodbye to those who hurt me Goodbye to those who I thought I would never say goodbye to It's over, I'm ending it Can no longer take this s*** But I think you knew that already.... Goodbye In all the times I've used that word I never began to think that I would use it in this context Goodbye, goodbye My final goodbye I can no longer see myself Living this hellish life With all that i've seen and all that I've done With all that I've been And all that I've sung I must now say goodbye It eases my pain And when I am gone I hope my memory remains Goodbye "It was my love that did us both to death. It's hard to say good-bye. Reminds me of an old Beatles song... "You say good-bye and I say hello... hello hello... I don't know why you say goodbye, I say hello" Say hello to the beauty around you. Sometimes life throws curves... sometimes windows are closed, so open a door. Get some sleep. If this poem represents your real thinking, call a friend or relative and talk about it. Then, get some counseling. If it doesn't and it's just fiction, then your writing was very convincing... Be well. |
