They say that talk is cheap
There are no benefits to reap
Hard to tell what is true
So I'll try an approach that's new

I'll give you the benefit of the doubt
Maybe then you won't shout
Please give this one last chance
You could enjoy the dance

Just look with an open mind
May be surprised what you find
We don't know what may come
Could be a lot or just some

This whole things makes me sad
Her talking to you makes me mad
It cuts me like the sharpest knife
She does not belong in our life

If she had a shred of dignity
She would wait for a final divorce decree
Before moving in for the kill
If it's meant to be it surely will

So to her goes this plea
As long as he is married to me
Won't you please give us space
And go without a trace?

Oh my.  I really liked this one, but there was so much pain in it.  I think you expressed it well, though.  I've seen so many people in the position you write of here and it is a very painful place to be.

This is some pretty powerful work!!  It sends a message that you put a lot of thought into it.  Well, I hope she gets your plea.  My hopes for it to work out.  Good luck!  I'll be sure to read more of your poems.

Tennessee Angel....we must deal with those feelings to move on.  Thank you for the reply.

Peppermint....so sorry to hear that you have been here.  Would not wish it on anyone.

Passion Fruit....thank you.  Do not know there is anything for anyone to hear necessarily.  Just venting.

BDC....Thank you my friend.  Just something I felt I had to do.  Hope to catch up to oyu very soon.

Mystical Nights...Thank you for reading.  Glad you enjoyed.

Amy....I am having many feelings these days.  Hard to know what is real anymore. The writing helps...it really does.
