A serious subject this title I've penned could be taken as thus ... but then again There's enough of that stuff in the everyday world I'd rather splash ink with a child-like swirl ! And wonder out loud at the mess I've created abstracts of thought not too long contemplated Fresh from it's nap , the pencil awakes the paper stares blankly , what path will it take ? To discover the wonder in something mundane can I get there by boat , or should I take the train ? Who was that masked man in the conductor's cap with lightning quick speed and a loud thunderclap ... I'm whisked to a place with a candle-lit glow faint memory traces of tassels and bows 'Round a tree with a star lay great gifts all un-opened their colors by far much more than I'd hoped , then... I'm back , and the page now no longer is blank given reasons as this , I exist , and say " Thanks!" |
