Butterflies' Grave

Where are you
Star that glows to shine light to two eyes
Away like a dove into the clear blue
Away like running fireflies

Do you feel
The sadness that claims the heart of your love
A faint flicker of hope only feeds this peal
Waiting to hold that gentle dove

Is it a dream
My sight of beauty forever a dark grave
Could I redeem
If such a fault not even the mirth of butterflies could save

Flowing like quenching rain
Can this be only for me
Those tears that light up the dreaded pain
Take away my eyes from the flame but the fire I can still see

Oh please another chance
Let us touch once more
Let us finish this waltz oh this endless dance
We shall love again forevermore

Eskendale,
Firstly, WELCOME TO PASSIONS

This is a beautiful start over here from you...Have a nice stay here...

Regards, sudhir

My heart is pounding, my stomach's inside out
I'm feeling kind-a-shaky, my mind is full of doubt
All I ever think about, is fearing fear itself,
Wish I could unscrew my head and put it on the shelf
Everything is twisted, everything is oh so tight,
Don't know what I'm looking at, the lights are all too bright
My brain's about to crumble, spill out on the floor
Sweep 'em up. Throw 'em away, don't want 'em anymore
Clouds race across the sky, day turns into night,
Still there are the questions, no answers in sight
Everything is twisted, everything is oh so tight,
Starin' out the window, everything is just too bright
Brain's about to crumble, spill out on the floor,
Wish I could unscrew my head, and kick it out the door...
You know I'm feeling kind-a....Strange
You know I'm feeling kind-a....Strange

Eskendale, well the fact that you can pen such a beautiful piece and with such heart, you have no need to hope for respect. You have mine and will get from many a poet in here. We are not like the other sites that spend more time tearing a new poet to bits instead of seeing the beauty in a poem. Of course we have a section called "Critical Analysis", I don't venture their, but even in their our people are kind and helpful.
Welcome and look forward to your talented writing.

Eskendale,

"We shall love again forevermore"

This must be my favorite line. I enjoyed them all, but this one
jumped out at me. No matter the ending, it's happy.
Well Done and Welcome to Passions!
