How do you measure the life you live?
I believe the secret is in what you give.
If only one smile you bring today,
It will enrich your life in such a big way.

If just one kind soft word spoken
Helps to heal a heart that's been broken.
Then once again you've made your mark.
Showing compassion in your heart.

To lend an ear and a helping hand,
To know behind them you will stand.
Can soothe the doubts of the sad and lonely.
And strengthen the spirit for all to see.

So who you are and how you live,
Depends upon how much you give.
