Brian and Marge - Both of you have always been very supportive! It's much appreciated Sea- Thank you for the kind replies to my poem. Briefly, a Senryu (pronounced Sen-ree-you) is like that of the haiku, having a 5-7-5 syllable count, but deals with human rather than nature, usually in an ironic or satirical vein, to bring forth universal truths (I choose to talk about death and how everything must change related to an old photograph of that person or persons, but memories remain) You should try writing senryus, I am sure that you would be great at them!*Four years ago, my Grandma died and this is is a sense about her passing.
