Whimsical Windy Wednesday
~*Marge Tindal*~

Sailing across the lake
feeling the sun and the breeze
Watching the wind fill the sail
Gliding the crest with ease

You masterfully navigate the yaw
as you are prone to do
I feel so at ease
just being here with you

No sounds to surround us
The silence of silence in tow
Knowing if the wind stops
we just may have to row

We'll anchor and enjoy
looking in each others eyes
Waiting until the breezes
billow us with their sighs

We'll sit still in the water
I'll read poetry to you
You will sing soft ballads
I will sing them too

On the majestic lake
cloudless sky above
Hearts content in being
so very much in love

The wind again buffeting
The sails catch a breeze
Anchor up !
We sail to the shore with ease

But ... Oh, this day
will float in my memory
Until the breezes blow
you gently back to me

I love the title by the way.

WOW!   This one set my senses to sailing if nothing else.   I too liked "The silence of silence in tow"

Such sweet longing, Marge....a beautiful image, well written as always.  A joy to read indeed.
