The might of trees by slight degrees is swayed
The subtleties of wind on leaves displayed
Would were mine finesse of line and word
A forest fine of oak and pine be heard
Majestic growth from which to quoth one seed
T'would nourish both till flourished , done with need
But my efforts of influence are as thus
As zephyrs of insouciance upon dust

Came in to find a laugh and am sitting instead in awe [know how that feels?]

Good job, doc!

Wayout,
Coming from you , being compared to a baby's runny nose is truly high praise indeed .Many thanks.
JC,
Hey ol' buddy , didn't know if they'd let me in here or not , so I guess if I write somethin' not too bad , they may let me stay awhile
Sunshine,
Well you surely brightened my day , I've been getting rained on for weeks seems like .
Glad you liked .

Yeah, my efforts of influence are about the same. Good poem, point well taken.
