I saw you late last night
But my presence you were unaware
In the shadows my heart was breaking
For I could see your pain and despair

Like a phantom I sat in silence
And watched you through the night
As you slept I peered into your soul
And I watched your dreams take flight

The dream that flew the most
Was one of you being set free
To fly away and be happy
Leaving behind your fear and agony

My heart bled many tears
For this soul that’s bound and tied
There must be more than this
Than this empty feeling inside

So I looked deeper into your soul
I found buried under some dust
A heart made of soft pure gold,
Joy, love, happiness and trust

I also saw your gentle nature
Of loving so tender and sweet
Strength, courage and grace
Emerging with each heart beat

I saw a glimmer of hope
Something that you kept
I watched it working hard
As the dust it slowly swept

As this dust is swept away
A splendrous place you’ll find
Peace will be shared with you
In body, soul, spirit and mind

I saw you late last night
I watched ‘till the break of day
And I saw your very essence
In such a beautiful way

I saw you again last night
You soul is no longer bound
Your spirit was smiling bright
For true happiness you have found

Just as I knew it would
That dust was swept away
I knew that your hope could
Bring you sweet love one day

So for now the shadows I leave
Let you embrace your dream come true
For you I no longer grieve
Peace, love and joy, has come to you

You see, I knew it would come to you (I Saw)I'm so happy for you!
Best wishes to you my friend
