Does the rain sound sweet to your ears?
does the thunder echo all of your fears?
does the lightening sense when your near?
do you wish upon the stars?
do dream of places afar?
can you reminece of days gone by?
without it bringing tears to your eye?
can you listen to a childs cry?
and understand an old mans sigh?
can you hear the butterflys sing?
can you hear the angels weep?
can you soar on an eagles wing?
can you dare to take that leap?
can you answer me my friend?
can you tell when it's the end?
are your fears all bottled up?
with little locks to keep them shut?
for if any of these things ring true..
please call on me when your blue..
i'll be there to lend a hand
and together we'll search for the promise land...

JulieAnn~
What a wonderful line is this -

'can you listen to a childs cry ?
and understand an old mans sigh ?'

Why it's a poem by itself !

I loved this poem.  I'm not sure why, but it brought a tear to my eye.  I guess we all need someone to help us find the promised land from time to time.
