Sleepers

From cradle to grave
Our souls, our very being
In lessons we must brave
Stored, where know one will be seeing

Our very own little realm
Helping us cruise life’s highway
The guilder at the helm
Making sure we don’t stray

Inevitably called to home
To await another chance on Earth
In Heaven will you roam
As it grows with every girth

For each of us a soul mate
A longing to find that grows deeper
As we cling to the hand of fate
Until then....
                 We, are only sleepers

..........

Thought provoking poem here, Marina, very thought provoking. Here I am thinking of after-life and re-birth in search of a soul mate. I presume it is not just one life but many a lives that one has to wait before the perfect unison is made, the perfect soulmate is found. I hope I am not chewing too much....

Anyway, atleast my thought process is on to some direction, I had thought I had lost that sense completely...

Thanks for posting this one...
regards, sudhir.

My heart is pounding, my stomach's inside out
I'm feeling kind-a-shaky, my mind is full of doubt
All I ever think about, is fearing fear itself,
Wish I could unscrew my head and put it on the shelf
Everything is twisted, everything is oh so tight,
Don't know what I'm looking at, the lights are all too bright
My brain's about to crumble, spill out on the floor
Sweep 'em up. Throw 'em away, don't want 'em anymore
Clouds race across the sky, day turns into night,
Still there are the questions, no answers in sight
Everything is twisted, everything is oh so tight,
Starin' out the window, everything is just too bright
Brain's about to crumble, spill out on the floor,
Wish I could unscrew my head, and kick it out the door...
You know I'm feeling kind-a....Strange
You know I'm feeling kind-a....Strange

I always fall asleep when I'm waiting for that fatefull train at the train station too.

Interesting view...... I like.

If you are asleep, what if you miss the train, do you have to wait.... and does the body walk around like a zombie with no soul. Cause that could explain a few people around the government office here.

Excellent Marina, yes. . . we all do search for that one person that will make us complete. . . sometimes, it takes a lifetime. . . sometimes, more than one. . .

Parker, if you miss it. . .well, I feel that you do indeed walk around in a state of loss. . .sometimes, you get another chance, and sometimes. . . you don't. . .

Wonderful poem. . .

Marina,

As I said before "Better and better"

 All my love,

but dreams can be so real when you don't know you're asleep

Would that no man could leave this earth before having awoken.
Wow!  What an amazing outlook.
I loved it, Marina!
