Earth 3rd Rock from the sun!!

My pain succumbs to the darkness
till daylight once again shows it's angry face
i've loved and lost
laughed and cried
told both truth and lies
still I don't how we've came to this place
of emptiness and demise

Is it the cool of the wind in my hair that I seek?
is it freedom 'round the bend
will I be strong or will I be weak?
you say you still love me
Though the trust is gone
you have no respect
that left with the days dawn

I'm sure it was painful
to find me there that day
I know you are angry
watching carefully what you say

lifes full of curves
ne'er know what we'll find
lifes full of broken hearts
when love goes blind

selfishness is my only excuse
destruction is my fate
I turn to you for forgiveness
you only look away

i can't blame you
i'd do the same
so I say goodbye now
as I board this plane

just remember the place you'll find me
buried deep inside
when your feeling lonely
I promise not to hide

I'll take away the emptiness
put happiness in it's place
for you can't deny the happy times
that reside deep inside.....

Thanks JulieAnn

I wish I could feel the way you do...but my heart is broken and it feels like it will never heal...
Though your poem gives me hope....
Thank you and love to you from me!

Julie Ann~ This is
Excellent!!  So much sadness and pain within
your weave, you have entered the doors of
Passions and now I hope that you find
release and healing within it's rooms.
Thank you for sharing this piece~

Hello JulieAnn and welcome to Passions...

I must say that your poem brought back some painfull memories...But that means thats it´s a good poem.
I thank you for touching me with it, and hope to be touched by you again soon by your powerful poems...

Hello JulieAnn,

I hope you find as much in Passions as I have already, I'm sure you will.
A wonderful poem you have written.  Dark and quiet, it brought me back to a mistake once made.  I look forward to more.

Trew.

I have been to see the world. Tasted life at every turn.
And all the time your face came back to haunt me.

Hi Julie
I have just found this after searching your entries when you replied to one of my postings.
It brought tears to my eyes and a feeling of de ja vue.
Very, very good.

Julie,
im SO glad I did not miss this excellent
poem, if I have not done so ...add my welcome to the list...
this is wonderful, heartfelt writing
you express these emotions perfectly
those last two stanza cut deep...
I look forward to more of your work
I have a feeling I will relate to your words.
take care
jm

It's amazing
How you make your face just like a wall
How you take your heart and turn it off
How I turn my head and you lose it all ...
And it's unnerving
(How one move just puts me by myself)
There you go just trusting someone else
(Now I know I put us both through hell) ...
I'm not sayin
That there was nothing wrong
(I just didn't think you'd ever get tired of me)
And I'm not sayin
(We ever had the right to hold on)
(I just didn't wanna let you get away from me)

She says baby,
It's 3AM ... I must be lonely,
When she says baby,
Well I can't help but be scared of it all sometimes,
Says the rains gonna wash away I believe it.
