The Sun is Ascending The sun is ascending on nights little red caboose, pushing it's entirety back beyond, but I'm in no shape to start again, another day, another dawn. The sun is ascending, on stars vacant sky. The new light burning my eyes, but I'm not capable of a beginning, or releasing all loose ties. The sun is ascending, on my pondering, on my quiet time. A fresh breath of morning air, I'm in no shape to do it all again. I can't see how you deem this fair. The sun is ascending, on my attempts to rest such weariness, and failing in all I give. It can't be possible to continue to live the way that I live. *This may come across as sounding deeper than I mean it to,...basically it's not about not being able to live anymore...at all. I just think this sleeplessness is taking it's toll on me and my ability to be cheery.  I apologize if anyone thought it to be sounding like giving up. I'm not.....just way overtired. *Peace. |

Spitfire, Wow, you know what, while reading through this one, it was like I wrote a poem about "me" getting up from sleep !!!!!  *yawn* sometimes, its so difficult !!!Enjoyed your poem, regards, shilpi p.s. You'll feel energetic soon, after you get all the responses for this poem !! |

Spit fire don't be afraid to go deep, don't be afraid to speak the way you want to. Overtired....I can relate to this, everything seems too much, no energy and you just want to sleep or hibernate as I like to call it. The sun is ascending, on my pondering, on my quiet time. Too much stress is usually the cause hibernate for awhile. a great poem, quite dark but come dawn the sun will shine hope thro your window. take care. ------------------------ "Take nothing but pictures. Spit Fire, I hope this does not mean yet another sleepless night for you my friend. Good that you are writing out those emotions. Maybe it will even help you get some rest. I sure hope so. I think we all feel this way at one time oranother, Spitfire. I guess the only solution is to think of all the people no longer around to be able to see that sun ascending.....and be glad we are.  |
