I heard a robin sing today
I listened to his song
He seems to have a special word
He wants to pass along
He sings of new beginnings
Of life that starts again
He's telling me that love exists
And there are special friends
Friends that love you as you are
And who are always there
Who always have the time for you
And let you know they care
I sang back to that robin
I knew his words were true
For I have started life again
The day that I met you.

Peppermint~
Why, this is just adorable.
How sweet the robin's song.
You brought it to life.
Enjoyed the read.

Peppermint, this reminds me of a Poem I used to read my sons when they were tiny.
It was about a little bird
Great read

a beautiful poem, romantic and sweet as  the song of a robin.

"Take nothing but pictures. Leave nothing but footprints. Kill nothing but time".

Baltimore Grotto

"To be nobody-but-yourself-in a world which is doing its best night and day, to make you everybody else - means to fight the hardest battle which any human being can fight; and never stop fighting."

E.E Cummings.

manic street preachers
"Culture Alienation Borebom and Despair"

"I know I believe in nothing but it is my nothing" -faster MSP

"And you see, I kind of shiver to conformity
Did you see, the way I cower to authority, you see
And my life, it's a series of compromises anyway
It's a sham, and I'm conditioned to accept it all, you see" six by Paul Draper.
