Why is it, everywhere I look, I see couples holding hands, laughing, and kissing? Why is it, I am alone, and everyone around me holds another soul in their hands? Why is it, they all tell me, I'm the perfect girl, just wait for the perfect boy? Why is it, when I get involved, you all run away, and I'm left crying again? Why is it, I'm sitting here by myself, waiting for the perfect one? Why is it, that I see you all take advantage of what you have, when you actually have something? Why is it, that you tell me, I'm too good for you, that I deserve the best? Why is it, I'm alone? Without you, Without anything. |

There is alot of different answers you seek to the questions you ask....I can't answer them but I am sure the answer is in your heart...very nice poem..I am sorry there is pain in the world..take care... |

Oh Tulip ... I could have written very similar sentiments many years ago! Take heart ... you will find your soul mate ... I can attest to that. They're looking for you too, and asking the same questions you are. Sometimes it just takes a little while to find them! Lovely poem! Best wishes, /Kit |

Thank you, you guys, for your responses. Yes, I'm a little discouraged. Okay, maybe more than just a little.  It's just not the same without being able to share with another person!! I'm attempting to keep my chin up, but it seems to be getting harder all the time! |
