when I entered eight
I knew not how
I felt I had entered into a different
state!
No signs saying turn back
I slid right into homebase
Even though I seemed I had deemed third,
How did I get to eight
I'll still debate
but oh well
I'm NOT in jail
so I guess I can't begin to squander
at this turn of the gate I've opened.
Kinda refreshing Kind of unique
so I'll just mention that i've entered poetry forum number eight!
Eight will make me saturate my words that so often
seem to fall behind.
Wow come back you,
There we go I told those words to stay calm
everything would be alright.
So here I am and welcome me
for I made it and so did you into the merry
world of EIGHT!

p.S I must have missed the news at five darn it!
Thanks for adding on yet another forum.I'm sure seven is very happy that eight came along. lol

I think 7 was jealous at first but is getting used to the idea of having a new forum, of course 7 is a bit sad to be ignored. I will always have fond memories of 7. But to the future, to 8 and all the wonderful poems that have yet to be posted there. Though reading todays postings we are getting off to a great start.

enjoyed your poem loads.

 ------------------------
"Take nothing but pictures. Leave nothing but footprints. Kill nothing but time".

Baltimore Grotto

"To be nobody-but-yourself-in a world which is doing its best night and day, to make you everybody else - means to fight the hardest battle which any human being can fight; and never stop fighting."

E.E Cummings.

Faster- manic street preachers

I am an architect, they call me a butcher I am a pioneer, they call me primitive I am purity, they call me perverted
Holding you but I only miss these things when they leave

I am idiot drug hive, the virgin, the tattered and the torn Life is for the cold made warm and they are just lizards
Self-disgust is self-obsession honey and I do as I please A morality obedient, only to the cleansed repented

*I am stronger than Mensa, Miller and Mailer
I spat out Plath and Pinter I am all the things that you regret
A truth that washes that learnt how to spell

The first time you see yourself naked you cry Soft skin now acne, foul breath, so broken He loves me truly this mute solitude I'm draining I know I believe in othing but it is my nothing

Sleep can't hide the thoughts splitting through my mind Shadows aren't clean, false mirrors too many people awake If you stand up like a nail then you will be knocked down I've been too honest with myself I should have lied like everybody else * chorus
So damn easy to cave in, man kills everything (x4)

Hmm... it's a little odd posting in a forum that doesn't contain my number. Perhaps I should switch to 8? Nah.
