They say True love never dies
I wonder to myself if that's true
I once loved a great guy
But now hide from his pain
I say I don't love him but am i hiding from the truth
He brought me joy
He brought me soar
He brought me happiness
He brought me pain
But I still loved him
He made me feel special and needed
He knew just what to say to make my heart race, my hands sweat, and my knees shake
But then he just gave me the biggest heartack I've ever had
I swore to myself to never love him again
And from that day on I avoided any feelings i had for him
But every now and then a few feelings seep back to me
Do I love him or not I wonder
I can't love him thought can I
I've given my heart to someone new
How could I love two people
Will I ever find out
Will I ever be with the one I'm meant to be with
Or will I always wonder what could have happened if things were different

This was nice.......I wish you luck in finding out exactly what you feel. But this was good.

yet another one of the examples of how love causes it's own pain. The poem is great even though the inspiration behind it may be painful. keep writing.

If this is going on now in your life, I hope you figure out everything soon. Not knowing can be really hard to deal with! I like the way the poem was written, it's very good

Nice job on the poem. Lousy situation though. I'm going through the exact thing right now. You can never give yourself fully to someone if you still have feelings for another. It is a horrible thing to do. I don't know how to solve it, just wanted to let you know someone else is there.

I was in a similar situation as this and i know how much all of this can suck. As soon as you think that you got over him all of a sudden all those feelings seep back to you and ruin it. Be strong, i hope everything works out in the end the way you want it to.
