Love's a Bumpy Road

Have you ever loved someone so much
But you know they do not feel the same
And when you look into their eyes
You realize there's no one you can blame.

You cant force the feelings
That just aren't there
No matter how hard you try
You cant make someone care.

I've learned that love's a bumpy road
That has many twists and turns
But you always get passed the hard spots
And this is something your heart learns.

You can't go on forever
Just sitting all alone
You have to move on with your life
You can make it on your own.

Just have faith in yourself
And everything that you do
Then soon your troubles with resolve
And your dreams will come true.

Dont focus on the bad things
Just leave your past behind
Walk tall with your head up
And your future will be kind.

You dont need a man
That makes you cry more than you smile
You need someone to make you laugh
And make your life worthwhile.

And when you find this special man
He'll want to have your heart
But remember to be careful
Cause pain makes it fall apart.

As jeremy said... the search for love is hard... but once you find it, it is a grand and happy feeling, though losing it just crushes you again... but that feeling of love is nothing when compared...

How come it is so easy for a person to say "I hate you," but it is so difficult for someone to say "I love you" and really mean it????

Often the reason that you cry for a man is because of not what he has done, but because of how attached to him you are.  He is not making you cry, you are making yourself cry by taking his actions out of proportion.
I'm not accusing you of anything, just giving you advice.  Try to think about how you would be affected if it was done by anybody else, and see if you are being fair.
Good poem.  Keep it up.

This is so true hun. You definately have words of wisdom in these poems of yours. I liked this one a lot

Love is never an easy thing, i think if it was then everyone would take it for granted and never truely realize how lucky you are to posses those types of feelings...excellent poem, keep them comin ok?
