When you move ahead
Do you know where to tread?
Or do you just aimlessly roam
Look about for home?
I may not know where to go
But if you're inclined so
Then by all means join with me
I could use the company
Together we'll move about
Those who oppose us we'll clout
None shall keep us from our goal
Even if it's only a sandy shoal

What will come of thee
If you come along with me?
How are we to know
Unless you actually go?
Everything's worth a first chance
Under almost any circumstance

Hey, hope things work out for you. Goals can always be achieved if you are determined enough. If it's with a relationship, then both of you have to have that devotion to one another to make it all work. Good luck!

It is indeed sometimes hard to know where your road will take you...although like Dopey said, there are times when you can have an influence on it.  Great work, nice to see you at passions, I don't believe we've met yet!

I like your attitude here, that "Everything's worth a first chance".  I really think this poem is written vey well, and even if you have to "aimlessly roam," at least you're out there
