mikeykrazy: Don't ever feel it an obligation to post "happy poems." You post exactly what you feel like!! This is a forum and people will respect you for what you write, happy or sad.

Now people would care if went away and died. As much as the world sucks for me right now, people can actually be compassionate people and there will be someone who will listen to you. This person obviously holds no sort of emotion in them. Hold your head high, OK.

We don't mind sad poems at all MikeyCrazy ... and this is very sorrowful. We do however have guidelines against posting suicidal poems, however this does not condone or endorse that, so can remain.

It's disappointing to think that someone could make a statement like this to you, but unfortunately, out of anger or frustration, many regret what they say long after they realize it even came out. Keep the lines of communication open, and let them know how hurt you feel when they say something like that. Take care,

Best wishes,
/Kit

well, it is sad but as long as it helps you, its in good taste
suicide is never the answer
you can always get help from friends or familiy
overall, i liked the contents in the poem
it sort of portrays a lonely scene in my head
best wishes,

this is a great poem, and i must agree with AF- never feel obligated to post happy poems, poetry is(for me anyway, maybe not for everyone) theraputic.. if you write what you are feeling then it can make you feel better... and this is how you were feeling at the time.   i am sorry you had to go through this   anyways, keep writing, you are very talented

Hi Mikeycrazy. In answer to your question, we basically do not permit poetry that glorifies suicide, violence, or the harming of oneself or others in any of the forums.

We have members as young as 9 years old that utilize the forums and since we have a young audience, it would be irresponsible of us to condone postings that for example may show suicide as a valid choice to the members who may be influenced by it.

Many members explore the depths of sadness, and do post these poems. It is however when exploration crosses over to what could be deemed as graphically offensive or harmful to a "family audience" or exalts glorification of an irresponsible act that a poem may be pulled for review and discussion by the Moderators. Should this be the case, at the discretion of Passions Moderators, poetry deemed to go beyond these guidelines would be deleted, and the author would be notified.

If you have a poem you think may be questionable, please feel free to e-mail the poem to myself or another moderator first if you like. We don't wish to stifle creativity, merely ensure we maintain the "family audience standards" set by our host. I appreciate you asking these questions, and for understanding.

This is a wonderful group of poets, and you will find much encouragement here ... we hope you'll have a great time getting to know everyone!

Best wishes,
/Kit

I know exactly how you feel...I had the same thing happen to me about three years ago, and I thought I died inside too. But you dont, you'll get past it soon. And someone who says that to you isnt worthy of you anyway. I know what you mean about would the even care if you died...I think about that all the time, but honestly you shouldnt worry about that because I'm sure there are a lot of people who care about you. Hope everything's okay.

Wow this poem was sad. This is a horrible feeling and im shur many of us, including me, have felt it at one time in our life or another. I know we also basically all have the question floating in our mind every now and then that if we died, would we be missed? would n e one care? would n e 1 cry? and etc..its a completely normal feeling and question...but you'll get through this. I hope everything is ok with you...good poem...

SAY WHAT YOU FEEL AND HOW YOU FEEL IT. THE ONE THING THAT NO ONE CAN TAKE FROM YOU IS YOUR THOUGHTS. IF YOU FEEL THAT WAY, CONTINUE TO WRITE THAT WAY. IT'S BETTER YOU EXPRESS IT ON PAPER (IN THIS CASE ON THE SCREEN) THAN TO GO OUT AN DO SOMETHING THAT YOU WILL REGRET. BUT THE POEM WAS VERY STRONG AND DEEP. KEEP DOING IT YOUR WAY.
