Where the wind blows free
There's that big tree
All colors of red, orange, and blue
And yellow too
Animals squirming up and down the trunk
Even down to where the roots sunk
It's winter time and getting cold
The leaves begin to fold
The wind blows swiftly
All across the tree
Then the leaves start fall
Sending winters call

I'm bumping this up because I really like this poem..It's not all that great, but it's cute, so tell me what you think.  I thought it was good for this time of year.

LilPoet~
Delightfully done !
I particularly liked this -

'It's winter time and getting cold
The leaves begin to fold'

Kind of reminded me of the way we
hold ourselves trying to stay warm.
