Physically? VA.... Mentally? I'm not quite sure

0 posted 2001-01-01 01:07 AM

I don't know why it's happened,
I don't know why it's me,
I've been here once before,
But no one ever sees.

Suffering in silence,
Eating away inside,
Every day is a struggle,
Everyday I want to hide.

There's a place that I dream of,
Which takes away the pain,
And the only time I reach there,
Is when I've given up on day.

I wish that I could be there,
I wish that I was free,
To live the life that I desire,
So I'm able to be me.

It's sad that you feel this way...  I wish there was something I could say to make things ok, but chances are, whatever I say won't help... My suggestion though, is go to this place more often and work out what is going on in your life and then figure out how you can be happy, I hope things work out for you soon!!

but your wrong DQ, Jennifer is quite the writer and she shows that in this one! This was cool, we all need that place to hide and relax!

I hope soon that you can live your last line: "So I'm able to be me."  It's important to be yourself, your real self.  Good job on the poem, and DQ needs to give us some more time to reply

Hey, I'm new to the forum.  Nice to meet all of you.
I understand how you feel, i often feel like i am most comfortable after i give up on things, myself.  Struggle is a necessity to appreciating the results, you know.  Well done.
