I'm silently screaming, though I make no sound
Inside I'm bleeding, I think it's starting to show
Yesterday you asked me what to do
Oh darling, if only I knew
But I've nothing to tell you
I'm lost, I'm alone
Consumed in my own fear
Bluntly you admitted you were scared
I can't tell you what to do
I'm torn, more scared than you
You insist that I'm beautiful, what I want to hear
I can't believe you, you say I've no self esteem
Somewhere inside I'm crying, you can't see it
The scenarios, you created in your head
Like my not eating ending in my being dead
You want me to promise, you want me to be safe
I can't promise
When I'm so scared, I'm so alone, and
I won't let you know, and I
Can't let it show
I'm such a wreck, with no idea what to do
Tears me apart, hurts me so much because
I love you
Be patient, I hope you figure out what to do
Because I'm silently screaming, but you can't hear me

It's been a while.  Happy New Year.  Help?  Please..
Bel

Beautiful is empty

Beautiful poem...  my suggestion ot you is to tell him how you feel... the truth...  this will stop you screaming out to him but yet he not hearing...  what have you to lose?  You know how he feels...  just let it all out...

Good Luck...

Melz!!

This had so much emotion in it...you expressed everything really well. I think you should tell him how you feel instead of waiting for him to figure it out. Hopefully everything will work out soon.

Incredible expression Bel ... you have drawn me in, and hon, I do know how you feel. For some, it is so difficult to accept the beauty that other's see. Many times we cannot see it ourselves, and we punish ourselves in a number of ways ... from eating disorders to self-imposed perfectionism in an effort to understand, like and accept "ourselves". It often goes hand in hand Bel.

Understanding and healing begins as so many have said above ... communication. Speak to an adult ... could you talk to a parent, another adult, counsellor, teacher or clergy? I'm only an e-mail away too, and am always here to listen.

You are a talented and gifted writer Bel, and healing can be found there also, it's such a release to write. Keep expressing yourself, open the lines of communication at home, try to begin to accept the beauty in you that others see ... and continue to write ... we will all be here reading.  Take care,

Best wishes and hugs,
/Kit

Great writing, and I think Kit and the others pretty much said it all.

Thank you all so much for repling, you don't know how much it means:
Melz- Yeah, that's a good idea.  I don't want to tell him everything, because I'm afraid it would hurt him...
SugarHigh- Thanks so much  !
Jeremy- hehe, thanks!
DreamerGrl- Yeah, I know, but I'm still not sure-if that makes any sense.  Guys aren't telepathic are they?
Justine- Thanks, I didn't know it was strong!
Dopey- I'm glad to be back  .
Skyfire- I'll try to e-mail you soon, thanks.
Kit- Thanks, I totally understand what you're saying.  I'm not the most trusting person though, so really talking to people(in any detail) about this is hard.
Lakewalker- Thank you
Thanks again everyone!!
Bel
