NOTE: Odd

Late for an Ideal:

Blink, blink that's it.
Time's up. Pack your clothes and go.
Don't let the door hit you.
We've all known you're too slow.

Here's an apple buddy.
Oh, just take the fridge instead.
This is good for all of us.
Insanity for the sane man's head.

Turn the corner, then a right.
Keep going until you see a sign.
It says, "Turn back",
But keep going, you'll be fine.

Write us a postcard or two.
Gifts are a good gesture you've known.
Tut-tut you're late!
Late for an ideal of stone.

I was born myself, raised myself, and will continue to be myself. The world will just have to adjust.

I hate your socks. I'd like to burn them!

Well, Dopey, this was odd, you're right. Ummmm, it's definitly interesting, I certainly couldn't write stuff like this. One day I'm gonna read about you in a tabloid..."Famous Writer...." Anyway, this was good.

Jeremey is right. this is very clever.  I thaught when I read "Insanity for the sane man's head."  that was going to be my fav line but then the next verse was awsome.  Very well done

Your poem was good, I liked the flow of it and how it was set up   I am getting so bad about giving replies lately, I think I need a break!

seems like im the only dumb one in here cause i'm the only one who needs an explanation...sorry Dopes...it's just that youre getting too deep for me.  And i'm the type who would like to really know what the meaning is to what he reads

Dopey, this was another really cool one. I don't think it was too weird. The obscure style makes it that much better.

What this is about is like........it's this guy and he's being booted out of his home, his refuge in search of his false ideals. His ideals of stone...jagged, and just hard with nothing on the inside. No meaning, no noting. Just an ideal that he has, yet he thinks he can get it. So this dude who ownes the home boots him out. Gives him the directions to where he needs to go, and he's sent off.
I could get into more detail, but that's the general bulk and a skim of the deep meaning.
