State of Despair

(Poem is about the seasonal change from winter to spring) Not sure how this came to me but I just felt the need to write about change, it's all I could think about. Enjoy.

Though scenic tones of mild white do lay,
Shots of  citrus rays shall melt snow away,
The earth’s mouth grows thirsty over time,
Blades of grass shimmer color of dark lime,
Birds aloft heads chant and collaborate,
Of spring time they holler and await,

The sun paints the sky with colors of blue,
Upon the brush are violaceus blends of hue,
Amidst the palette darks are not present-day,
Leave that to somber storms to likely play,
Frozen ponds no longer sew their tiny holes,
‘Cause the beating lights are fiery with coals,

Naked trees soon dress in their vivid disguise,
To conceal their bareness of winter cries,
Those former inanimate oceans now a’ roar,
Assaulting upon rocks that are never more,
Dark shades of purple withdraw the tides,
To the outlying horizon on all sky’s sides,

Equinox of delight will dance into days,
Limiting night and day in the same ways,
When spring reaches it’s climax of change,
Past days of frosty winter won’t be in range,
As you look up into glassy finished skies,
Spirits of melancholy will no longer rise

Wonderful poem, Jeremy! Although it went right over my head, wonderful poem! I have a headache, so I'll read it again later, and maybe perhaps I'll understand better. But great!

I can't see at all. Even if I could it would all be great, to put your picture on my wall, it reminds me that it's not so bad, it's not so bad.
