Its time to say so long
for awhile,but not goodbye
The brain i have is in a state
of frozen meat
no more lame ideas to spring from
this mind, only kind words and
advice to all you real poets out
there, this wont be long so dont worry
poems are like people, indidvudal and
unique never the same
wether it be love,death,micenlaniuos
or whatever we want it to be,
I decided I shall be a ghost for a while
all I will whisper to you will be words
of advice and words of kindness
so when I see you again, when my brain
defrosts so I can make a nice steak with
it I will write you poetry and I will
write u that of feelings, I keep pent up
and then you will see a master poet
with pen and paper in hand
   Regina
**this no goodbye poetry world. i decided i need to stop and just read and answer poems of those who are the true poets and those who will becaome true poets.**

Words will come to you in time, when your feelings and your mind are ready again to deal with things in your life...  don't rush them, in time you will return to us!!  I await the next you write!!

Yes.... I understand "writer's block" but in time you will have the words to express yourself. The best poems come from something deep inside... sometimes, you can just be sitting watching T.V. and it will start flowing... flowing from ideas of others, or from past experiences. Sometimes life can be sad or hateful, the best thing you can do is get some work from it! Good luck!

it's sad to see yor quiting writing yourself....everyone here is a true poet within themselves...we are all learning, all practicing, because this is one way that our poetry improves, i don't think you should take a break, just practice it when you can cause you'll see that you'll end up feeling like a true poet yourself.

Writer's block hits all of us from time to time...read and reply and usually that's enough to get the ideas flowing again!  Hope to hear more of your great work soon!

I get writer's block all the time but that's when I concentrate on a important topic to me. But anyway keep up the awsome work.

Well, it's sad that you won't be posting your poems for a while-you're very good at it, but it's good to hear that you're only taking a temporary break from it.  At least you're still going to be on the site  !  Good luck with the writer's block

Ina:

Always sorry to see a good poet leave. I'm glad this isn't goodbye just cya later. I'm glad also that you will still be replying to others work. As the others said it will take time but eventually that writer's block will clear and you can get back to writing more poems to impress us. Take care and good luck!
