State of Despair

0 posted 2000-12-19 11:53 PM

"Set these gloomy clouds aside,
Call upon the light that died,
Cast all shadows that exist,
And murder darkness in dismiss."

Soon brilliant Dawn grew weary,
The sun's rays turned so teary,
Colors of gray appeared tonight,
The sky now didn't seem so bright,

"I laugh at you oh tired one,
I've now destroyed all the fun,
I'll make your day feel so blue,
As the curtain of black comes to you."

Dusk arrives so fast and sour,
Stars shine light all the hour,
Now I wish when I soon awake,
Dawn is back for heavens sake,

This is a wonderful poem. I always love the Dawn, and the promise that it will come each day. Thanks for posting.

This was great jeremy......another great one! You are seriously coming up with some great stuff. I see a vast improvement from when you first started to post. I like this!

I was born myself, raised myself, and will continue to be myself. The world will just have to adjust.

I hate your socks. I'd like to burn them!
