Time goes by so fastly
I remember when you were my boyfriend
no we are moving in our ways
I can see it bothers you to not go out with you
I can see it in your eyes and the way you say;
when you say "I love you"
I smile at you..
I think when we went out for a year
that was a great year and when we fell in love
I smiled all the time and thought "I love you"
I had to let go of the love and
I promised to be your friend for a life time.
Where ever you go in life don't forget me

Letting go is such a hard thing to do but it takes a lot of strength so i completely admire you for what you did. It is also good that after all you've been through that you two can still remain friends, sometimes thats harder to do then actually breaking up. This was an excellent poem...

Hey thank you for all your replys. I miss that guy in my life. It seems like a peice is missing in my puzzle of life, I'll make it 'cause we are really good friends. I still care about him and love him as a friend, I think of him always wishing that'd he'd call and have those long convo's like before. I wish everything was back to normal but he's leaving this year graduating so I won't see him at all thats why I broke up with him. Because it'd be to hard to see him leave and not have his love anymore. Thats why we broke up not a fight, peace out people. Bye ~*~Min~*~

Its hard when someone you care just have to move away like that. I can see that you're coping well. At least you had the opportunity to spend a great year with him. Great read and keep on writing.
