A few months ago, I fell in love with you. I held your hand, And looked into your eyes. And yet, it remained a secret, To be revealed a few weeks later. Every day we walked away, From each other. And every day I whispered, “God, I love you.” It wasn’t for a few more weeks, That you first held me.
