Secret Admirer A room, with many entrances, and many exits. A mind, with much hope, and much despair. A desire for happiness, A search for the truth, Will I find happiness on this steady road? Must I search so hard, for what is true? My hopes smile when I see, My hopes frown when I see. A confused heart, An exhausted soul, The truth, is deep in you. When you hear the soft tune, Do you think of me? When you watch the doves sing, Do you wish for me? When you're alone with feelings that you can't explain, Do you want me by your side? When we're together, Do you hope, that one day, You and I can fly together like the birds, Through the fine melody, Into the reality that was once a dream. I do. Like a skiff in the ocean, I will wait. Like a newborn bird away from its nest, I will pray. Like an old lamp in the dark, I will hope. Like a young soul who wonders, I will be here, Wishing, hoping, that eventually, You will feel the same. When I find the truth, will she be kind? If I tell you, will I be lost? If I allow my heart free, Will it fly? I'm afraid. Often when I thought the truth is not to be found, I thought wrong. I have faith.
