As the river flows from the mountains, the birds sing their morning song. The trees sway ever so slightly in the breeze.

Alass this carm will never last. For where there is carm the pain will always follow.

The the rain starts. No longer do the birds sing. No longer do the trees sway in the breeze. No longer does the river flow. No now everything has changed. Now the river rushers, the birds hark and the trees violently swing.

so we say good bye to the carm and hello to the hectic. That is only for now, for things are forever changing.

These are some great thoughts, Katherine. Just remember, if there was no rain, there would be no river, trees, or birds. As you say, things are forever changing, and just as calm can give way to storm, a storm can subside just as quickly. Thanks for posting.
