every thing was so simple,
there were no drugs, there
was no alchol there was nothing
but innocence
when did life become so complicated
when did your life start to fall away
from u?
Why didnt you tell, why did you wait
until it was too late
we were everything to each other
you told me everything, or at least
I thought that
your first kiss, your first girlfriend
no matter what it was you knew i would
always be there
And now your gone
why did you leave me behind
your family never cared,
but I did!!
i was your friend, you helped,
stayed by my side when I was in
the hospital, and now thats where
you died,
I want you to come back, I want to feel
your big bear hugs and your impaitent
lessons on skateboarding and raving
Forever didnt last too long because
you were only 16 and I am only 13..
everything seemed so simple when we were kids.

This was beautiful. So much emotion and feeling were captured in it.  sometimes i wonder the same thing. Great job.

This was a great poem of sadness. This really did express the harshness of the world these days. Kids are medling with things that are just over their heads. I surely hope the best of luck for you and keep posting love!

I was born myself, raised myself, and will continue to be myself. The world will just have to adjust.

I hate your socks. I'd like to burn them!

Excellent job of telling this, your words seem so true.  I hope you are going to be ok, it can be very hard losing someone close to you.
