"Inside me, there's a waterfall that flows with love. And inside me, there is a fire of hellish thoughts that burn the heartless mind. And inside, there is a heart, that beats with out end. And inside there is an empty space, filled with thought of hopelessness, and confusion. Something that once filled that space is no more. Inside me, there is a nieve girl running free. And inside me, there is a little child crying. And inside me, there is a bird that carries my dreams. You may see the outter me, who stands with a thought to repair. You may see a smiling face, that doesn't seem to care. You may see an unbeating heart, and waterfall full of tears. But inside me, is all the memories, I've gathered throughout my years." Welcome to our circle of friends! Great first poem, wonderful style. The and you put infront of inside contribute to the feeling of what is inside and I think this is a very good poem. Can't wait to read more Planning big can be a gamble...I have already rolled the dice! |

Ever since I started writing poetry I've tried really hard to express in a poem what you did in yours. The memories I have from the last few years really affect how I am as a person today and a lot of people don't seem to understand that. See because no matter how hard I try to forget the memories are and always will be in my head. And no matter if the memories are good or bad I have to tell myself that it was the past and that I have to move on. But anyway Great first poem and I hope to read many more. Lauren |
