Ok first of all I havent posted a poem in awile but I do still reply. And I see that we are growing with new members. But do any of yous notice that we have people posting up to 7 poems in one day. I noticed that today when I was looking at the poems. Im not trying to be rude but to those that are doing this could you please slow down with all the poems cause some people post 1 poem while some post 6 or 7. That means the person that posted the 1 poem is gonna have to go to the bottom of the pages to find theirs. I am not saying anyone in particular. But there are some people that do that. Thanks for taking the time out to read this.

And so this doesnt get closed I will add something.

Roses are red,
violets are blue.
Slow down with the posting,
so we can read the other poems too.

(That doesnt make to much sense but I hope it will do.)

I agree with Erin.  I mean, I posted a poem called Scared, and that wasn't very long ago, and now I can't even find it on here.  Thanx for adressing that Erin.

Erin, I'm very glad you posted this.  I too would like to add that posting more than 3 poems a day is highly discouraged and it forces the poets who post less work to see their poetry shoved to the bottom of the pile without the recognition it deserves.  So I ask you all to be kind to the other poets here and limit your posts to 3 a day.  Thanks again for posting this Erin!

I noticed this too, thanks for coming out and talking about it Erin.  And just so everyone knows, Dopey is giving the forum a total makeover, since he is trying to catch up because he was gone.  I hope that makes sense.

ill agree with ERIN.
suddently we have 4 pages a day...
some is dopes work by trying to catch up.
but other is new stuff, and while its intresting, it also leaves less space for the other people who have less.

but whoever, dont take this personally, it may seem scary that everyone that has replied to this so far has joined ERIN's side but ive read some poems and theyre good so dont go and leave us either...

I'm TOTALLY with ERIN. Because i have to keep bumping my poems so that my really close friends on here can get to them because some people post like 5 and 6 poems. and when there are so many of us in here its hard to get to every poem..then people start complaining about their poems not getting very many replies

Yea hey sorry guys..........I was gone for a week and completely took poems from yesterday and maybe shoved them four pages back. That sucks but I do have a reputation to uphold. I love poetry and I love knowing that i have replied to EVERY SINGLE POEM in teen poetry for a while now. I wanted to keep that streak going and didn't want to be unfair to the writers in this wonderful forum. Sorry to have been a bother!!!!

Anyway......about the 7 poems a day....it says in the regulations that 3 poems should be the prefered max.......i do hope we can all uphold this......
thanks guys!

And once again sorry to have been a bother!

Yes, I have noticed this is happening, sometimes people get over creative, and it is understandable that people wanna post it before they lose it.... but you all have to remember that some people post only 3 poems in a week, then they get lost in the wreckage and mess of all the others! Just try to remember that when you post!

Thank you all for taking the time out to read this. It really means alot to me cause alot of good poems are getting bumped to the bottom. And then we have to search for them if we want to read them.

I'm just bumping this post back up, which is really counter-productive since poems will be moved off the page, but oh well.  Dopey, I've been replying to them all for a long time now too, I feel sorry for the people who can't make enough time to read them all, since they are all so great

I'm just as new as some here, but I totally agree and want to bump this up so others can read this. I have been having to bump my own quite a bit lately because 4 or 5 poems by the same author are posted after me, and so on and so on and so on... I feel selfish when I have to bump my own. I hope people can understand that they will most likely get more responses with only a poem or so a day.

I'm with ERIN as well, a couple of months ago, when I left, this was one of the main reasons, I used to post 1 mabbe 2 poems a week, and when I came back the next day to check for replies, There were a bunch of new posts from the same person. I have noticed that if you post too many, that some may get closed. I often post more than one poem in the same post, and often, people wonder why. Well, This is the exact reason Passions has certainly grown since I first started posting. And I'm proud to add to the wonderful poets we have here.
