You introduced me to Movies To Go
Where we rented the Truman Show
And maybe it hit a little too close to home
Although now I am alone
There about more important things to think about than you
Like, what makes the sky white and blue?
Is there a definite boundary between space and the atmosphere?
How can be be all alone in this huge galaxy here?
But I feel all by myself without you around
I'm not sure what's up and I don't believe in what's down
All that money we spent togther could've went towards something better
Just today I sent in my Christian Children's Fund letter
Maybe life is imagination and I broke my own heart
Or there really is a destiny...and we're destined to be apart
I don't have all the answers that you'd like to know
I don't know where we came from
I don't know when I'll go
Is there really a God?
Is it a he or a she?
Maybe this is my world and everyone is worshipping me
What's the purpose of animals? Why were they here before man?
Why do we listen to scientists? Why not find out all that we can?
What is the purpose of religion? Why worship a being you may never see?
Just to have something to believe in? Well, I believe in me
So even though you may think that my world revolves around you
There are more important things (like, why the sky is blue.....)

Hey, I liked this poem alot. Especially this part.

What is the purpose of religion? Why worship a being you may never see?
Just to have something to believe in? Well, I believe in me

I think the same way. I think even if there was a god or greater being, it would never want us to worship it, and go to church and pray to it. It would just want to be loved as we love each other.
But anyway, great poem.
