~I'm sorry I haven't been posting, things have been going on, I'll try~

How Dare You

You called again
Out of nowhere
For no reason
You act like you care
It's been how long?
And your still singing
That same old song
Go on and throw your little fit
She doesn't need this in her life
She doesn't want it
Nor does she care
When in her life
Have you ever been there
And how dare you insult him
You think you're so perfect
You wouldn't have gone out on a limb
You wouldn't have supported all those kids
You wouldn't have come close to what he did
He wasn't perfect
No he had his faults
But he was far closer to it than you
He doesn't deserve your childish insults
You're 45 now?
Could've fooled me
You could pass for 13
With your immaturity
You even insult your mother
Blame all mistakes on her
You just want to make an excuse
For the father you never were
Mom said she may have two or maybe only a year
Do you have any idea
How that hurt to hear
I've already lost one grandparent
Now there might be two
I don't mean to blame
But some blame should be put on you
Oh yes she's to blame to for your son
Yet who was left holding the bag
When you got scared and decided to run
Please just grow up
You old childish fool
Start acting your age
Step up from grade school
I pray that God
Forgive me for what I think and do
Because I want nothing
To do with you

- Written about my "uncle," who I claim as a blood relation but nothing more.  The reference to the man is my grandfather, who died June 22, 1999 -

I think that this one expresses your feelings well.  It's really good   And we know everyone has lives we have to live, so we understand if you take a little break from here.  Just don't stay away too long

Hey all, thanks for replying.
Kandi- Thanks, but I loose no tears over him.  He's attempted to weave in and out of our lives since I was about 2, and didn't speak to us for years, then when my grandfather died he tried to act like the perfect son.  That didn't last too long, and he's drifted back and forth a little since then.  The irony here is how he got married to a woman who already had 3 children, like my grandfather, except he handled it completely different.  Okok I'll shut up now!!  Thanks so much.
DancinQueen- Yeah, I know.  It must be so much harder when it's a parent.  Good luck and thanks
Lakewalker- I'm glad you understand, I'll try to respond more.  Yeah, I wrote this when I was kinda mad, can ya tell  .
Again, thanks so much, I really appreciate it

The poem was powerful.
I don't like to read things like this. It's a shame you think of yer uncle like that but he deserves it ya know?
Oh well.

I hate your socks. I'd like to burn them!
