The Birth of My Future...

My friends
    are
      pathetic
My life
    is
      too
The girl
    I
      love
Lives in
    timbuck-
      too

oh
    did I
      mention...
she
   has a
      boyfriend
this
    seems too
      familiar...
an
    unwelcomed
      trend

but
    on with
      my life
end
    what is
      now past
make
    a new
      begining
start
    living...
      at last

Hey, I loved the way you wrote this soo much. I can never seem to put such meaning in so little words, I always ramble....this was beautiful.

Wow! I really liked this piece. I'm glad that you've decided to take control and start living your life. Keep up the great work!

IsGona, i think that being consciously positive is a great way to get out of depression. I have done it and it worked with flying colors. Anyway, i'll also have to comment on the style.......i liked it a lot. I think it added a lot to it. It propelled me to keep on reading.

Thank you both I apreciate your comments

Dopey ~ I agree.  I worte this poem several years ago and was a little depressed.  I woke up one day and said "I won't be depressed anymore"... it worked.  happieness all depends on your out look on life.  any how thanks.

acire ~ thanks.  I'm glad you liked the style.  I kinda borrowed it from a poem a read long long ago and I liked it just because it's different.

I have to admit, I laughed when I read the line about timbucktoo(sp???). It just struck me as funny...no offense!
Other than that, though, I really liked the message in your closing...life always brings hard times, but all you can do is keep living and going on or else you're dead anyway. You made that point very clearly to me. Thanks for posting this, it was great!
Love~

lol it's cool.  I can laugh at this now.  I't;s kinda ironic, but I'm actually dateing the girl from Timbuktu... she lives much closer and I still love her.  Oh and it was spelled incorrectly it's Timbuktu.  anyways, thanks for replying
