i'm not sure how big this program is so i'll explain. it's an all night walk around the track at local schools and surrounding the field are paper bags that say relay for life. it's to remember those who have died of cancer.

The longest drive
Is when we pass the signs
Everytime i see them
I feel like i'm going to cry
I always ask myself
Will my dad be one of them
Those people remembered
I need to participate
But i'm too scared
One day he might be one
That's a scary thought
Emotions run through me
I don't want him to die
But if he does
I will go
I must show my dad i care
But now i can't go
I don't ever want to be there
And have him to remember
Don't make me go
To Relay For Life

"So many tears i've cried, so much pain inside"

Hey. Great poem, very tough subject..All I have to say is that remember, you are never alone. You are always going to have someone that will listen to all your troubles, and help to carry you along the way. You're in my prayers...

A word is dead
When it is said
Some say,
I say it just
Begins to live
That day.

This is so sad. I feel your pain.
Keep that head up is all I can say and if not then we're here for you.

I was born myself, raised myself, and will continue to be myself. The world will just have to adjust.

I hate your socks. I'd like to burn them!

Wow, this is such a sad poem, but well expressed.  I hope things turn out for the best.  And they have relay for life where I am too.

This is really sad curly...I'm really sorry.
This poem is a real tear jerker...and it is very wonderfully written. Hang in there and hope that everything will be okay.

Honest, and very heart-felt..and sad.
Thanks for sharing, 'cause it's really moving..and hold on..
