I just wrote this a few minutes ago.. there's no real pattern to it, but oh well, right?  It's about a guy friend, who i wish was more, but it'll never be *sigh!* anyways, i hope you like it... ---------- The Way You Made Me When did it come to this? Why didn’t I see it? Heard the screaming in my head, but I didn’t want to listen... too afraid to believe what it said. Now I sit by the phone, waiting for your ring... it’s you’re voice I need to hear, the only one I can rely on to stop these selfish tears. Only me to blame, you bore heart and soul and I, I just left you cold. I know what you want, and it pains me too… that’s why I’m giving this to you. My promise to let you see, what it is you desire, the person behind the plaster that’s the real me. It might take some time, and I might cry along the way... but if I let you leave me now, I’ll never smile another day. Not the way you made me. |
