I wrote this a few months ago, and I' ve just now finally found someone to dedicate to. This is for my Boy-Friend, who is also my Best-Friend.

Dear Friend
I am glad we have met
Just when you think your world is coming to an end
Someone always seems to come along whom you let
Usually come into your life
These types of people will always stay in your heart
They always seem to make you forget about that knife
They are able to take out that painful dart
That other people cause you to feel
Because they are too scared to feel the pain
They are too scared to just deal
Deal with that hot blood running through each and every vein
The new being that comes in
The one who distracts your mind
Usually won’t cause any sin
They are the ones who will never be blind
They will always try to understand what is wandering around in your head
These are the people who won’t judge you for everything that you have been through
These people come in your life for a reason, to waken you and keep you from feeling dead
Day after day, when the time has come you will both realize that you grew
The friendship you both will share
The friendship that keeps you feeling alive in inside
Will always be there
Those kind of friends will never push you aside
Just remember this one thing:
That a friend will always stay a friend
Whether or not you feel the friendship or relationship is about to end

Hey, this was great. I liked the way you worded a lot of the lines. It's great that you've found someone to fit this poem!
