An Epitaph For A Lost Friend
You ate away
at her body
never reaching
her soul
her body fought
the darkness,
the spasames
of pain,she
never gave up,
but the yellowish
tint got worse
You brought smiles
to everyones faces
never pity
and now you are gone
and your family has died
with you
Steel magnolias whisper
your words of wisdom
for us to hear
so young but yet so old
your dreams were never
fufilled, but are worked
on by all
i never knew you as i
wished i could have
butI will not be sorry
for that's not what
you ever wanted
goodbye Stephanie

~Well, this poem was wrote for two people although one of them I never knew the other one i love deeply because he is a friend, love and a mentor~
Rest In peace

that was really nice. It feels good to get your thoughts out on paper when someone close has passed away. Stay strong

Yellowish tint....I think I'm a little confused.  It's great though, keep your head up and smile

This is a beautiful tribute to this person. It's so awful when someone so young dies, but you have glorified her short life well. I hope writing this helped you deal with your feelings. Keep up the good work!

False gems may shine as brightly as the genuine article, but there are always those who can tell the difference.
