They've got me on some medication. My point of balance is askew. It keeps my blood rushing, And it keeps me loving you. Somebody get me out of this habit. I'm tearing myself apart. Eventually this drug will kill me, If not from outside, then inside, And all that's left will be you. I wear myself out in the day. I try to sleep at night. And I do all I can to keep fighting The thought that you're with someone else Tonight. I've got to have my fix. I'm never me without it, I'm never me with you. It's like an ache in my chest when you're near When I know I can't have you to myself. It'e like a knife in my heart when you leave And you never knew I was there. Somebody lock me up, please! I'm going crazy with love. Eventually I'll give in, give up, And I just won't care. Not about you. Not about me, or anybody else. I need help. I need love. I need hope. I need care. I need hugs. I need futures. I need... I need... I need you... "Sometimes stars can only be seen in darkness." "Sorrow's crown of sorrow is remembering happier things." |

Wow....this poem was absolutely amazing. I loved it! It has so much emotion in it that i can relate to. I cant say enough about this piece...excellent job! |

Um, don't take this the wrong way, Astrea, dear, but a lot of these lines are DIRECT quotes from the song Medication by Garbage. There should be reference to that somewhere. Vreni |

Well hey, i thought this poem rocked. Shows desperation, i don't know. I hope things are ok. Keep that head up!  "I was born myself, raised myself, and will continue to be myself. The world will just have to adjust." I hate your socks. I'd like to burn them! |
