It's so damn hard to move on |

You know the love is over You know the feelings gone You know you've tried your best But it's so damn hard to move on Yesterday I saw you in someone else's eyes It's amazing when you see it, but it comes as no surprise It's your chance to start it over, it's your chance to try again Next time it will be better, maybe next time you'll finally win But moving on is the hardest part Can't find love without a spark You know you've put out the flame There's no one else to try and blame You know this love is over You know the feeling's gone You know you've tried your best But it's so damn hard to move on When you try to advance And you take a new chance You can't give your full attention You still feel that word you can't bear to mention That little four letter word is the hardest to say And that four letter word doesn't like to go away But she doesn't feel it, or maybe she does She can't say it simply because Of the pride, that very strong feeling But your pride is what slows the healing It kicks you to the ground and knocks you around It's what picks you up but then lets you down This thing was completely over when you said good-bye But you will wonder until the day you die You know the love is over You know the feeling's gone You know you've tried your best But it's so damn hard to move on So damn hard to move on |

This was an excellent poem. You expressed wonderfully how no matter what you do, you can never escape that four letter word, love. It's so damn hard to move on... Hey good job man! The ending kinda sounded like a song......actually this whole thing sounded like a song. I liked it a lot though. I'm going through this same piece of......well stuff. This is so well done, it really has a strong feeling behind it. "But it's so damn hard to move on So damn hard to move on" The feelings are bad, but I like the poem! And on a side note, of course we welcome the new people, we all love poetry and the more there is to read, the better  Keep posting!
