You said you'd never leave,
that you would always be there.
I trusted you with my secrets,
and it turns out you didn't care.
I told you all the secrets,
that I kept locked up inside.
All the bad things that happened at school,
and my thoughts on suicide.
You said you'd never let that happen,
I wouldn't go out like that.
I trusted you to love me,
and you couldn't even do that.
And now you expect me to listen,
to what you have to say.
When you tell me you can't take it,
you can't make my pain go away.
But what if I trusted you,
to never ever leave.
I never thought you'd be the one,
to lie and to decieve.
And what does it matter,
if my thoughts I decide.
Would you care at all,
if I commited suicide?
Of course you'd blame my enemies,
my family, and even me.
But you know that I always loved you,
that was just something you couldn't see.

Alright, this is kinda old. So don't go thinking that I'm gonna go jump off a bridge, alright? I made the team for this writing contest in my area!!!!!

Whoa this was an amazing poem. I often feel this way about someone...someone who promised me he'd always be by my side. I dont think i could possibly relate any more to this poem. Great job!
