As I sit gazing at the stars,
I ofter wonder where you are,
The one destined for me,
The one that will set my heart free,

So many tears I have shed,
Yes right here on this very bed,
Thoughts that only bring me down,
Thoughts that make me hang my head shed a tear with a great big frown.

Have I changed all that much,
All I ask is the softer touch,
Am I cursed to be alone,
These midnight thoughts run through my head while I sit by the phone.

As I sit praying and waiting for your call,
I feel like I am running to a wall.

Can a man love without a heart,
Even if it is just apart.

I know I can't silly as to be,
But when I love I use all of me.

Midnight thoughts haunt me so,
It brings stuff up that you don't want to show,
All these things that make you quit.

My heart is broken because of love,
I am just waiting for someone to piece me back together again.

early to rise,
early to bed,
make a man healthy,
but socially dead.

Hey, this is great.  It seems like you're really tying to get your feelings out, and you did a good job here.  Nicely done   I really like these two lines:

"The one destined for me,
The one that will set my heart free,"
