In an upside-down garden

Life is getting harder,
and I'm not quite sure why.
All I know is it's not fair,
you shouldn't have died.
How could someone do this?
Especially to someone like you.
We all sit and wonder that,
because there's nothing we can do.
And still we cry these tears,
minute after minute, day after day.
Though they may not change anything,
they could help us some way.
Alex knew you loved him,
his girlfriend's in heaven now.
And although he feels crummy,
he makes it through somehow.
I know sometimes he wishes,
he would have died to.
That would've made it easier,
then to live life without you.
We wish we could've done something,
each one of us blames ourselves.
And the teachers are even crying,
they put the books back on the shelves.
And still we cry these tears,
minute after minute, day after day.
Though they may not change anything,
they could help us some way.
We hope you know we loved you,
and we never will forget.
But you shouldn't have been the reason,
of why we wept and wept.
You should still be with us,
laughing as the day goes by.
But since we can't see you smiling,
we've got a million tears to cry.

---------------------------------------------------
I was thinkin' a lot about my friend Jesica, the one who died, and I decided to share this with you all.
I have a dance tonight at school. Goin' by myself. Ain't got no where to go afterwards, whatever, wasn't invited, don't care. Because I still cry almost every day.

I feel so bad! That was one of the most beautiful poem i've ever read because of how well it was written and how it portrays every single one of your feelings that i could feel them too. I'm so sorry that you lost your friend, i know its a horrible thing to get through. Very beautiful poem!

I'm so sorry for your loss.  I know a loss of a good friend is always very hard to bear, but you must try to stay strong.  I just can't imagine what you're going thru right now, eventhough I've experienced loosing a really good friend too.  Thanks for sharing the poem.  keep strong!!!

This is absolutly amazing writing.  I'm not exagerating either, this is awesome.  It's so full of meaning and emotion.  I have to say this is my favorite poem of yours so far, even though it is based upon such a horrible event.

sugarhigh: thanks for replying. I'm glad that you liked it.

acire: thanks for replyin. How's your life?
glad you liked this.

Lakewalker: thanks for replying. This is one of my favorite poems because it reminds me of her. It took one day to get to know her, but it'll take years to forget her. Went to a dance a couple of days ago. Danced with her boyfriend, but I know she won't care, I hope,
well bye all.

Dopey: I would like to say that nothing else that is bad has happened around this, but there is a series of events.
1. Justin and I broke up
2.My friend Brian got runned over by a car and he can't walk,
3. Jesica died.
4. My best friend switched schoools,
5. My other best friend gets so mad at me every day and he might be leaving my school
6. one of my other friends is in some serious trouble.
7. justin is the most confusing persoon on this earth.

thank you much, I value your opinion. When I check to see if ppl reply, I don't read this poem because it makes me cry too.
