have you ever wanted to die
not kill yourself
just die
and leave the painful world behind
could you live every day in utter physical pian
caused by a terrible secret
you can never tell
because it would betray a friend
hurt a loved one
and destroy a friendship
so you take the pain
and hide it from them all
never talking about it
making sure everyone is happy
but forgetting yourself
so you have this pain
this hellish pain killing you from the inside
i wonder if its possible to die from sorrow
if so i have only one more day

"scribere iussit amor" love commanded me to write
"Cogito ergo sum"-I think, therefore I exist

Wow.. fabulous stuff.. you express sorrow well, but it's a little too hopeless for my liking =(

i wonder if its possible to die from sorrow

if so i have only one more day

Definitely my favorite part! Keep it up. And Smile!! =)

Wow, this is really powerful.  Is this about you?  I'm just asking because I know some poems aren't about the authors.  It's so sad.  Well, it's really good, keep writing..hasta luego...

i thought this poem was great, you seem to be in the same mental state that i am right now. keep it up........the poetry , not the mental state.

A descriptive and sorrow filled poem, I have felt like this before. Know everythiong there is to know about this feeling. I'm so sorry for this. Please e-mail me, I can help. Until then, take care. And I don't think it's possible to die from sorrow, bad fish, yes, but not sorrow. (sorry, bad humor I know you didn't are to hear)

Whoa this is an EXCELLENT poem. Because of the exact thing that your describing my happiness was completely taken from me. You get so caught up in everyone else's happiness you forget yourself because its one less thing to worry about. This was a GREAT poem!!

My ears are always open for whatever you need to let out. A hollow gargoyle will burst under the weight of fetid water. You may be made of granite, but even that wears down...

or maybe i read (pardon bad pun) too much into it?
